Date Night!

March 8, 2016

The other night Joel and I went on a date! I wasn’t feeling the greatest over the weekend but he convinced me a night out would make me forget.

We decided to go to one of my favourite restaurants, Bul Go Gi House. It is a small Korean restaurant that from the outside looks a bit like a hole in the wall, but man is the food good! I’ve been going there ever since I was young and I always order the same thing. Many people don’t know about this restaurant but whenever I talk to someone who has been they share the same love for it! (It’s really very very good!)

We ordered the sweet and sour pork and vegetable fried rice (called Bi-Bim-Bap). I wish I still had leftovers. I swear whatever they put in the sweet and sour sauce is addicting!

Afterwards we went to glow bowl! I cannot remember the last time I went bowling (and by the way I bowled, it’s obviously been years…) But it was a tonne of fun in general. We played three games, and I ended up winning one! I almost got so many strikes except one pin would always stay standing (I was jinxed I swear!).

It was an awesome night, even though I felt a bit sick. It’s really important for us to still go out on dates even though we’ve been together for a long time. I find when we just hang out at home we just talk about our days but when we go out we start creating new memories, which is what it is all about. It’s also great to fail at bowling together and have a good laugh.
