I’ve exhausted the topic, I know, but I’m SO HAPPY spring is here! It’s such a relief to be able to spend time outside without freezing my butt off! I’m always, always cold, so cold weather just makes it worse. Now that the sun is out, I’m out. It’s so important for me to get Vitamin D from the sun. At the moment we live in a basement suite (with very few windows), so we don’t get nearly enough sun as we should. It is such a mood killer. When it’s all dark all the time I feel like such a different person and have so little energy. I so need the sun it’s not even funny (even though my pale, pale skin would disagree).
Joel and I have been looking for alternative fitness these days where we can spend time together but still get in a good workout. We’ve added swimming to our list (which will be super nice when it’s outdoor pool season), and sports like soccer and tennis. We decided to play some tennis and a bit of soccer yesterday to get in a bit of exercise. It’s more exhausting than you’d think! (And my shin splints are giving me a hard time for it). But it was a super fun way of getting exercise and spending time together outside in the sun!
