Night Cap

April 15, 2016

Over the past year, Joel as been really getting into making us delicious cocktails at home. We like going around the city (and other cities for that matter) to try out new and interesting cocktails. There is something about a cocktail that just soothes, relaxes, and satisfies all at the same time. The flavours you can pair together are also insane! Maybe in the future when we get better at making crazy, interesting cocktails I will share one, but for today I decided to share a simple one he makes frequently: The Whiskey Sour. It’s very easy and tastes delicious!

Here is what you need:

2 ounces Bourbon (we used Bulleit Bourbon)
3/4 ounce Lemon Juice
3/4 ounce Simple Syrup
1 Egg White
Garnish : Dash of Angostura Bitters and Orange Peel

To Make:

1. Begin by shaking bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white.
2. Then add a cube of ice and shake again.
3. Double strain into glass over a large ice cube.
4. Add dash of bitters and orange peel to garnish and enjoy!

If you have any fun fancy cocktails we should try making let me know. 🙂
