Coffee Date In Calgary!

August 25, 2016

We began our mini road trip the other day by stopping over in Calgary! I always like going to Calgary it just feels like a nice change of pace (not to mention I always find the cutest clothes at their boutique shops!). Joel decided he really wanted to check out Monogram Coffee’s new coffee shop that is located in 5th Avenue Place. It is really spacious (especially compared to their other location) and the large windows really make it feel bright and open. I have been off and on with coffee lately because of some health issues with my stomach but I decided to bite the bullet and indulge! I love coffee a lot even though my gut hates me for it, but it was worth it. We both had some cappuccinos and espressos and just enjoyed sitting there relaxing from our long drive in the rain 🙁

I’m excited to tell you guys where we ended up going! Originally Joel and I were headed to San Francisco this week and we were both SUPER excited, but unfortunately we had to cancel our trip last minute. I still wanted to get away because the fringe exhausted me and I felt like it would be nice to get out of the city and get some fresh air! We decided to head to southern Alberta and have historical sort of trip. On our list of places to go were Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, Writing On Stone, and Drumheller. I’ll be posting more on these places later. I highly recommend everybody check these places out if you can! It’s so spectacular to see and hard to imagine you are still in Alberta! Stay tuned for those posts but here are some pictures of the new Monogram!! 🙂
