Happy Over Crappy : Week 5

How was your week of no dumping? I noticed I do this far more often than I would like and had to catch myself quite a few times. This is something I need to continue to work on so instead of catching myself while I am doing it, I avoid it altogether. As I was working through last week, I noticed that even though I wasn’t dumping as much, I did spend a lot of time nagging! What’s up with that? Am I a nagger and never realized? Relationships require more work than I think we realize sometimes and often it’s hard to admit that work has to start with ourselves! Do you find that you are a nagger as well? I really hope that with this week’s challenge I can start to be more proactive and less pushy on Joel!

Challenge: Your challenge this week is to be more proactive with things that need to get done in order to avoid nagging. Maybe you feel like it is someone else’s job to do something, but if you are totally capable and want it done, why not do it yourself? Unfortunately (and fortunately) we do not have the power to change someone’s actions. Even despite the frustration that doing the task might involve initially, having it done by you without having to nag and upset your friend, co-worker, or family member might just be worth it! If it is a task that is on a time limit, try to be proactive about it, and start prepping for it sooner! Let’s try to be nag free this week!

Happy Action: Spend some time people-watching (in the least creepy way possible haha) and find the moments of love and kindness!
