Since moving, I’ve been looking for ways to declutter and reorganize rooms to make our house look put together but still functional. As I do a lot of crafts, I was constantly finding myself raiding through drawers and bins to try to find what I needed to complete a project. When I went to Pinterest to find out some organizational tips I found a pegboard and instantly fell in love! I was a little intimidated by this because whenever a project involves a saw… I get slightly skeptical I will be able to accomplish it, but with a bit of help from Joel, we managed to get the pegboard up and running in less than 15 minutes! What??? I have to thank the man at home depot for being so helpful. He pointed me in the right direction and made sure I left with everything I needed for the project. I love how it turned out! It makes everything so much more accessible and looks really cute! Christmas decorations are about to get made in full swing so it was the perfect time to do this.
What You Need:
– 1x2x8 framing lumber (enough to create a boarder on the back of your pegboard)
– selection of hooks
– drill and screws
What To Do:
– Saw the framing lumber into 4 pieces to create a boarder around the back of the pegboard and drill in.
– Drill pegboard to the wall.
– Add hooks and supplies
It is super easy! I couldn’t believe it. I love the look 🙂 Here are some pictures for inspiration!
