It’s been 3 months of getting happy! How have you been? Do you find yourself looking at situations in a different way? I know I have started to! I think this happiness challenge is a lifelong challenge, but I believe working on it makes it easier. I have been super excited about Happy Over Crappy and people’s response that I wanted to do a giveaway! I’ll mention all the details at the end of the post! I was fortunate enough to be in the YEG Fitness Magazine November issue and could not be more proud about it! (I am also super pumped I share the same magazine as Jamie Salé and I got the meet and chat with her for a bit!) This month has been a whirlwind of activity and I cannot wait until December hits and I can be more of a homebody. Something I have noticed a lot about myself this week is that I give people an energy before they even give that energy off themselves. That may sound a bit confusing… but what I am trying to say is, perhaps at once point a certain person made you feel a certain way because of something they did, or the way they reacted to a situation and now every time you see them, you feel the same feelings you did in that moment. Instead of giving them the space to be who they are in that moment, you are already reacting to them in the way that made you feel frustrated or upset, even if they haven’t done anything yet. So that is what this week’s challenge is about!
Week 12 Challenge!
See Everyone In A New Light
Challenge: Your challenge this week is to see everyone in a new light. What do I mean by that? Whenever you are in a situation with someone who has made you feel a certain way in the past, try to let that moment go and look at them with a clean slate. Try not to bring and pre-made energy of how you think this person is going to be to the table. Let them have the space to express themselves in that moment how they wish to be expressed. If you have a negative energy when you are with that person before they have given you reason to, chances are your interaction will be a negative one. If you open up and listen to what they have to say you might find you have changed your mind about the person, and your negativity might disappear!
